Upcoming concerts

Our first concert of the 2025/26 season will be held on Saturday 27th September at 7.30pm at St. Alkmunds church, Duffield. The English Chamber Ensemble, a group of the country’s leading string players will be performing:

Bach; Brandenberg Concerto No.3 in G Major, BWV 1048

Mendelssohn; Octet in E flat Major, Op.20

Vivaldi; Four Seasons

This will be a joint concert with Music at Duffield and will be held on the Saturday evening in Duffield rather than ay our usual time and venue. The subsequent concerts of the season will held at 4pm at the Multi-Faith Centre, University of Derby. The details are as follows:

Sunday 19th October at 4pm; Julian Bliss (clarinet), Tim Horton (piano)

Sunday 9th November; Aquinas Piano Trio

Sunday 8th February; Martin Cousin (piano)

Sunday 15th March; Young Artists’ concert – Jeanette Szeto (viola), Matt Lan (piano)

Sunday 19th April; Narratio Quartet

Alternatively, tickets will be available on the door (subject to availability) or you may like to buy a season ticket which will allow you access to all six concerts of the season at a significant saving compared to purchasing tickets individually.
