Welcome to Derby Chamber Music

The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.

We organise a series of concerts each season between September and April. The next concert will be held on Sunday 24th March 2024 at the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby.

2024 Season Finale

Our next concert will be held on Sunday 24th March at 4.00pm at The Multi-Faith Centre, University of Derby.

We are delighted to announce that the Aquinas Piano Trio will be performing piano trios by Beethoven, Frank Martin and Schubert.

Described by Gramophone as; 'spot-on in interpretative instinct' the Aquinas Piano Trio has established itself as one of Britain's most sought- after chamber groups. The trio consists of Ruth Rogers (violin), Katherine Jenkinson (cello) and Martin Cousin (piano). Further information about the group can be found at www.aquinaspianotrio.co.uk
