Welcome to Derby Chamber Music
The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.
We organise a series of concerts each season between September and April. The third concert of the season will be held on Sunday 15th November at 4pm at The Multi-Faith Centre, University of Derby.
We will be delighted to present The Linden Ensemble which brings together three internationally acclaimed artists – Sarah Williamson (clarinet), Ashley Fripp (piano) and Susan Parkes (soprano). The Linden Ensemble will be presenting a varied programme of music.
We hope that you can join us!
The concert will include music composed by Spohr, Brahms, Schubert, Liszt, Schumann, Massenet, Puccini and Gilbert and Sullivan.
This concert is being held in the memory of Harold Butterton, former committee member and longstanding supporter of Derby Chamber Music Society.
All are welcome! Refreshments will be served in the interval and there is ample free on site parking.
