Welcome to Derby Chamber Music
The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.
We organise a series of concerts each season between October and April. The next concert will be held on Sunday 9th February 2025 at 4.00 pm at The Multi-Faith Centre, University of Derby.
Our next concert will be held on Sunday 9th February at 4.00pm in The Multi Faith Centre, University of Derby and will feature Young Artists: George Boyes(violin), Laurence Flower(double bass) and Alexander Kwon(piano).
The first half of the concert will consist of a violin recital by the local violinist George Boyes accompanied by Beate Toyka, a renowned local pianist. George is the leader of the City of Birmingham Youth Orchestra.
After the interval Laurence Flower will give a double bass recital accompanied by Alexander Kwon. Laurence is principal bassist and Alexander is principal orchestral keyboard player in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
Refreshments will be served in the interval and there is ample free on site parking.

Derby Chamber Music Society have been promoting events since the late 1990's. We are a dedicated group of volunteers providing live, high quality chamber music for the benefit of the local community.

Our Venue
Derby Chamber Music concerts are held at the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby.
Parking is easy, convenient and free, disabled access is also convenient and the venue is warm and comfortable.
All our concerts start at 4.00pm.
