Welcome to Derby Chamber Music
The Derby Chamber Music Society promotes live professional performances of classical chamber music within the city of Derby, engaging both established and young emerging musicians from the UK and overseas.
We organise a series of concerts each season between October and April. The next concert will be held on Saturday 5th October 2024 at 7.30pm at St.Alkmund’s Church, Duffield.

We are delighted to announce that our Patron, Katherine Jenkinson will be performing as part of an ensemble.
The ensemble will be performing:
Mozart: String Quartet in G, K156
Elgar: Cello Concerto (a special arrangement for chamber group)
Schubert: String Quintet
This concert will be held in memory of Margaret and Michael Mallender and has been made possible through their generous bequests.
There will be an interval when refreshments will be served and there is ample free on site parking.

Who we are
Derby Chamber Music Society have been promoting events since the late 1990's. We are a dedicated group of volunteers providing live, high quality chamber music for the benefit of the local community.

Our Venue
Derby Chamber Music concerts are held at the Multi-Faith Centre at the University of Derby.
Parking is easy, convenient and free, disabled access is also convenient and the venue is warm and comfortable.
All our concerts start at 4.00pm.
